The Club has a range of windsurf boards and small sails for club beginners to use. Varne Water Sports & Supporters Club offers a great location to get to grips with windsurfing on the sea. The gently shelving beach is excellent for learning to beachstart and waterstart with plenty of room and no underwater obstructions to worry about. If you require any further information please email

Sailing

With an east facing beach our launching area is protected from the prevailing SW winds. We have arguably the best site for safe launch and recovery on the Kent coast. Giving the novice sailor a better chance of success and more days on the water. With ample parking close to the beach rigging is less of a chore. Launching in shallow water over sand makes for the simplest launch with little chance of damage to boat and crew.

SUP = Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Possibly the fastest growing water sport in the world? The bay off the Varne Clubhouse can offer some great SUPing, at times the sea can be mirror flat but we can also have nice swells coming in for some SUP surfing. It is a very easy sport to master in a short time and is great way to improve your fitness and core strength. We have 8 club SUP boards for members to try and get to grips with this fantastic
