We are the East Kent Walking Group.

We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Our Sunday walks usually incorporate a pub stop for lunch or a drink in one of the many pretty countryside pubs across East Kent. We also have a very active social life, regularly meeting up for dinner, cinema, drinks, BBQs etc.

Kent is a great county for walking and we are here to help you make the most of it, whether you want to join the led walks organised by our thirteen Groups or want some inspiring ideas for walking on your own.

Even if you don't want either of these, we hope you will still join us to support the vital efforts of our volunteers protecting the footpaths and working tirelessly to promote the interests of all walkers.

Kent County Agricultural Society, a registered charity whose mission is to support local farming practices and promote education about food farming and the countryside.

At Bredgar we have restored many long since abandoned industrial vehicles and machines to their former glory, some are better than original and now benefit from a new lease of life.

First train 11:00 am, last train 4:30 pm

We are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

The Tea Room is open all year round 9am–3pm, Wednesday to Sunday.

Please note* all pubs walks are subject to change in terms of accessibility seasonally.

Stroll though our beautiful vineyard and then visit our on-site winery to see the wines in fermentation tanks, amphora and barrels.

The tour will last approximately two hours and will involve a walk in the vineyard on uneven ground, so come with suitable footwear and clothing for potential wet and cold weather.

You'll be able to purchase wines from the cellar door which are not available anywhere else.

We are now able to offer a food option ticket to accompany your tasting.

We are Oxney, the largest single-estate producer of English organic wine.

We don’t like to make a lot of noise. We prefer to concentrate our efforts on nurturing the grapes in our Soil Association certified organic East Sussex vineyard, then transforming them into beautifully expressive English sparkling and still wine.

The results speak for themselves.
